Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 20, 2026

This site (madewithbill.com) is the personal portfolio of Bill Utaegbulam, a freelance web developer based in Irvine, California. This page explains what data is collected, how, and why.

Analytics

I use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Umami doesn't use cookies and is GDPR and CCPA compliant by default, which means:

  • No cookies are stored on your device.
  • No personal data is collected.
  • Your activity is not tracked across sessions or other websites.
  • Only anonymous, aggregated signals are collected — such as the page URL, approximate location (country, region, and city), device type, browser, and operating system.

Because of this, the site doesn't utilize a cookie consent banner.

Direct correspondence

This site has no contact form. If you choose to email me directly, I receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. I use that information only to respond to you and discuss potential work. I don't add you to any mailing list or share it with anyone.

Third-party services

Analytics data is processed by Umami, which anonymizes all visitor data and never collects personal data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data relating to you. Analytics on this site is anonymous by design, so there's no personal data tied to you to begin with. For anything I hold from direct correspondence, email me and I'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy as the site evolves. Any changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
