As an eCommerce shop aiming to appeal to a width swath of potential consumers, the challenge with Binned was to create a brand that could stand out from competitors without creating a silo away from mainstream pop culture.
The submark was created with all the hallmarks of a great logo with its straightforward simplicity and accessible versatility. While it obviously present as a lettermark reference to the brand name, the structure of the symbol is also meant to reflect a thumbs up as a nod to the it's-all-good target audience.
Altogether, assets and selected imagery come together to create an intentionally gritty look and feel that speaks to the embrace of the imperfect.
